Want a new wardrobe without adding any clothes? Eyewear accessories in the form of fashionable sunglasses or inspired glasses are all your conditions for enhancing your style in 2022.

To get some ideas, we invited Dr. Christine Doyle, an optometrist in the city center and the owner of Spectacle Gallery, an all-around cool girl, to provide us with the latest must-haves:

Minimalist metal frame from Haffmans & Neumeister, Germany.

The least metal, especially round. And bold colors! Think of your glasses as a piece of jewelry. They can easily add a touch of metallic charm or color to any outfit.

Blue lens transparent sunglasses from New Orleans company Krewe.

Large and retro-classic shape, but with modern colors. Classic black and tortoise shells will never go out of style, but crystal frames with blue, green or even purple lenses are very popular.

I hate this question because I hear it all the time. It is more about proportions than specific shapes. I always hear, "I wish I could dress well, but my face can't." But this is not the case. You just need to find the right round shape for your face.

As long as your frame follows your natural brow bone arch and examines the upper part of the bone, you can pull out any shape. Even a classic sagging pilot, if it is not lower than your natural lattice bone, it will not make you look sagging. Your face determines the size, not necessarily the shape.

The gold and tortoise pilots of Allem, France.

Our eye tissues-inside and out-are freckled from sun damage. So wear sunglasses to protect your delicate eye tissue. Freckles inside the eyes can cause permanent vision damage. Polarized lenses can protect against ultraviolet rays, but they also have the added benefit of reducing glare. Remember, polarized sunglasses are a must-have for water.

Red cat glasses designed by Italian Piero Massaro.

Did not get out of our comfort zone. Humans are creatures of habit, and I understand this. But mix it up occasionally. If you always get neutral colors, try pop colors and see how it brightens your face and makes your eye colors pop.

The colors of your face and glasses should complement each other, just like an artist's palette. Think about the color wheel and you will know exactly what color will pop your eyes or bring out the natural pink undertones of your skin. If paired correctly, they can quickly brighten your face without makeup.

Glasses should be fun! If you allow, a licensed optician can find blockers for you.
