The snow scene will start this Thursday-Boston News, Weather, Sports | WHDH 7 News

Snow flew up last night, and as the temperature dropped below zero, the snow began to stick. Although this is not a big storm (most towns are between coatings-1 inch), it is certainly enough to produce some smooth spots on the untreated surface overnight and this morning, because it is a cold start up!

With the return of the sun, the snow has already fallen this morning. Before you go to work or return to school, you may need to spend a few more minutes cleaning up the dust and warming up the car. Sunglasses too. The temperature did rise to nearly 40 degrees this afternoon, melting some of the winter scenes we had this morning.

There may be a few snow showers in the northwest at 495 degrees overnight, but it will be dry for most of tonight, as some mild air will enter tomorrow and the high point will reach more than 40 years old.

The temperature soared to close to 60 degrees on Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, but it was accompanied by humid weather and gusts of wind. Showers come in and out from Friday night to Saturday night, so this is not a whole day of washing, but overall it will be an unstable day. The wind is the strongest on Saturday night, with wind speeds of 30-50 mph, and the strongest on Condor Bay and Cape/Island.

We will dry it on Sunday because a gust of wind brought the temperature back to the right level. It looks relatively mild and quiet for most of the next week.
