Now Dame Vivienne Westwood has unveiled a new eyewear collection of glasses and sunglasses that will inspire you to have a little fun with your frames.

The Vivienne Westwood Eyewear collection, which has been exclusively designed for Specsavers, takes inspiration from Westwood’s bold use of tartan, hand-painted graphics, and elegant Rococo-inspired details.

Each frame, partially made from Eastman Acetate Renew, which is a combination of recycled single-use plastic and bio-based materials that come from sustainably sourced wood pulp, features a signature Vivienne Westwood design; from monochrome DIY style graffiti to V-cut temples.

For every one million frames made with Acetate Renew, Eastman uses 50 tons of water plastic as a raw material. This is plastic that is not currently recycled which means it is being diverted from landfill and the ocean to be crafted into beautiful eyewear.

If you’re looking for an instant update, you can’t go wrong with these Vivienne Westwood rounded glasses in a rich, dark crystal acetate. The iconic Vivienne Westwood orb on the front of the frame adds delicate detail that contrasts against the Vivienne Westwood design on the oversized temples.
