News...but not what you know

On paper, the Gucci House really has everything-an all-star lineup led by Lady Gaga and Adam Driver, a true story about murder and greed, and the most incredible and popular fashion in film history.

Unfortunately, director Sir Ridley Scott was unable to combine these fabrics cohesively, which meant that fans would feel an expensive but bloated and unbalanced drama.

This film is adapted from "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story about Murder, Madness, Charm, and Greed" published by Sara Gay Forden in 2001. It tells the story of Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver) and his The true story of the murder of ex-wife Patricia Regiani (Lady Gaga) was convicted for hiring a killer who killed him in 1995-years after their marriage broke down.

It also pays attention to the painful drama and jealousy of the Gucci family, which eventually lost their empire, with Jared Leto, Al Pacino and Jeremy Irons as Paul, Aldo and Rudolph respectively. Gucci, Salma Hayek and Camille Curtin completed the throws.

However, despite the running time of 2 hours and 38 minutes, the murder seems to be an afterthought of the actual plot, with more space dedicated to timely costumes and overly complicated house background stories.

Gaga's Italian accent has been under scrutiny-it is more like a Russian accent-but she also spends most of her time on excesses as a scheming Patrizia, her portrayal as a desperate matriarch can sometimes seem clumsy clumsy.

The Oscar nominee is easily surpassed by her co-star-especially a criminal underutilized Hayek who seems effortless in front of her. The chemical reaction between Gaga and her husband Driver on the screen seems to be very few. The most obvious is that in a strange sex scene, more attention is needed to pay more attention to the breakdown of their marriage. What caused Patrizia to decide that the killer is her only choice .

At some point, the Gucci House changed from an explosion of camp and wealth to a history lesson, and entered the internal operation of an iconic fashion company, but there was hardly any middle ground and almost no development in the role. The family war behind the brand spawned countless columns of inches in real time, which seems to be more than suggested in Scott's screen adaptation.

Leto is definitely a climax, as the extremely confident but not very talented Paolo Gucci (Paolo Gucci), he laughed from start to finish, and he really put his heart and soul into the absurdity of this role. You can see that he is intoxicated in the scene, which makes him more like watching.

Driver also successfully played the frank and optimistic young Gucci, ensuring that his role's growing power and subtle charm shine on the screen during his time in power. Someone told us that his retro aviator sunglasses will be the new Connell's Chain.

However, just like the infamous Gucci family, there seem to be many clues in the movie vying for the spotlight, leaving us with a messy, disappointing and ultimately forgotten final product.

House of Gucci will be screened in cinemas on November 26.
