How to make serious jackets and sportswear look chic.

For many years, in my opinion, quilted jackets are related to grandmother's fashion. However, in recent years, brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Chloé, Max Mara, etc. herald the return of high fashion in all things quilting, with trends extending from coats to skirts, dresses and pants.

Now Rihanna is participating. And, of course, she is putting her own special spin on it.

Yesterday in New York City, the musical fashion beauty tycoon was photographed wearing a navy blue quilted bomber jacket, which was freshly released at the Miu Miu 2021 autumn and winter fashion show. Under the collared jacket, she is wearing Martine Rose's oversized black tracksuit with bright blue stripes on the sides. She completed the costume with Balenciaga's iconic Knife boots. Accessories include Loewe's white sunglasses and Miu Miu's leather gloves.

Rihanna always wears Miu Miu when she goes out. Last August, she took her niece to dinner at her favorite Los Angeles restaurant, Giorgio Baldi, wearing the brand's design.

Then, the "Love on the Brain" singer wore a light pink crystal-embellished crepe dress by Miu Miu. She paired this look with Amina Muaddi's strappy high-heeled sandals, with a sparkling silver clutch, crystal necklace and silver earrings.

In 2019, the founder of Fenty Beauty also issued a statement at the airport, wearing a Miu Miu camouflage cardigan, paired with quilted Bottega Veneta sandals and a Louis Vuitton crossbody bag.
